Where exactly is the Doncaster first aid training venue?

Our first aid training venue is located at the Eco Power Stadium, Stadium Way, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 5JW.

The stadium forms part of the Lakeside complex on the South East edge of the city.

Park in the marked bays around the stadium or in Car Park 2. Car Parks 1 and 3 are not available to delegates.

Getting There: Plan your journey in advance

If you are driving, leave the M18 at Junction 3 and follow the A6182 White Rose Way. The stadium is signposted from the roundabout. From the city centre, it is a short drive southeast along the same road.

Which first aid course do I need for my workplace?

It depends on your risk assessment.

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 (HSE First Aid at Work) require every employer to provide adequate first aid provision.

They apply whatever your headcount is.

What they do not do is name a specific course for you.

Most low risk workplaces choose Emergency First Aid at Work, which runs over one day.

High risk settings choose First Aid at Work, which runs over three days.

Ofsted registered childcare needs Paediatric First Aid, which is a separate requirement.

Which first aid courses run at Eco Power Stadium?

Emergency First Aid at Work, blended Paediatric First Aid and Sports First Aid all run at this venue on scheduled dates.

Emergency First Aid at Work is our one day workplace course.

Blended Paediatric First Aid combines eLearning with a classroom day, totalling twelve hours.

Sports First Aid is the same recognised workplace qualification, taught around sports injuries and pitchside scenarios.

Weekend dates carry a £20 supplement per delegate. Klarna and Clearpay are available at checkout.

Does the Paediatric course meet the current EYFS requirements?

Yes. Our blended Paediatric First Aid course is built around Annex A of the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework (EYFS, 2026), which sets the criteria for paediatric first aid training.

Annex A requires a full course of at least twelve hours, with the emergency elements taught face to face. Certificates are valid for three years.

Those criteria are unchanged in the framework taking effect on 1 September 2026, so a certificate earned now carries over.

Childminders and nursery staff from across Doncaster book this course, alongside nannies and parents.

That includes Bessacarr, Balby, Bentley, Wheatley, Edenthorpe, Armthorpe, Sprotbrough and Rossington.

The venue suits learners from further out too. Rotherham, Barnsley, Worksop, Retford, Goole, Selby, Gainsborough and Scunthorpe are all within reasonable reach, and the M18 makes the journey straightforward.

Can you deliver the training at our premises instead?

Yes. In house training starts from £450 plus VAT for up to twelve delegates, and we travel to your site anywhere in the Doncaster area.

This works well for care homes, nurseries, schools, warehouses and distribution sites where releasing staff to travel is the harder problem.

Doncaster has a substantial logistics base, including iPort, and onsite delivery keeps shift patterns intact.

How quickly do I get my certificate, and how long is it valid?

Certificates are issued within 48 hours of you passing. Workplace and paediatric first aid certificates are valid for three years.

Mental Health First Aid certificates are processed through the awarding body and issued promptly following completion, in line with its processing times.

Our first time pass rate is 99%.

Who accredits your courses?

Our courses are accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) as standard. Ofqual regulated qualifications are available through Qualsafe Awards on request.

The Health and Safety Executive stopped approving first aid providers in 2013. It now recognises several routes an employer can use to check a provider is competent.

FAIB membership and Ofqual regulated qualifications are two of them.
