Allergy Awareness Training


Our allergy awareness training gives teachers and support staff the knowledge to recognise an allergic reaction early and respond with confidence.

The course has been developed to help schools prepare for the new statutory allergy guidance expected to come into force from September 2026 under Benedict's Law, which is set to strengthen protections for children with allergies in educational settings across England.

Course Requirements
  • No prior first aid knowledge needed
  • Minimum age 14 years
  • Physically able** to carry out practical elements
  • Comfortable clothing recommended
  • A smartphone or tablet is required to scan QR codes for the test
