Five courses run at this venue as open courses. Each supports your duty under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, and your own needs assessment decides which one fits your workplace.
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
One day, certificate valid for three years. Written for low risk workplaces such as offices, shops and salons.
Three consecutive days, certificate valid for three years. Written for high risk sites.
Two days, for renewing a FAW certificate before the expiry date.
12 Hours (eLearning + classroom), meeting the paediatric first aid criteria in Annex A of the EYFS statutory framework.
Every delegate receives a FAIB accredited certificate. Where a regulated qualification is required, for tenders, inspections or funding conditions, the Ofqual route through Qualsafe Awards is available on request. Your certificate is issued within 48 hours of the course date.
Can the trainer come to your premises instead?
In house delivery from this venue covers Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cirencester, Stroud and the surrounding Cotswold and Severn Vale area.
You provide a room with clear floor space and the trainer brings the equipment.
In house courses are priced per group of up to 12 rather than per delegate.
The trainer to delegate ratio is 1:12, set by the awarding body, so every delegate is assessed individually on the practical skills.
