Course Information
Our Allergy Awareness Training course gives teachers and support staff the knowledge to recognise an allergic reaction early and respond with confidence, including anaphylaxis.
It is designed to support schools meeting the allergy safety expectations set out in the statutory guidance behind Benedict's Law, which applies across England from September 2026.
Because that guidance expects allergy awareness training to reach all staff, not just designated first aiders, delivering onsite lets a school train a full group together in a single session.
Pricing:
The Allergy Awareness Training course is delivered in house at your venue from £325 + VAT for up to 16 delegates.
This is a set price for the group, so whether you train 2 staff or 16, the cost is the same.
The session runs for one hour. Please note the price can be affected by location and date.
Safe Haven Training Ltd delivers the Allergy Awareness Training course throughout the UK. Don't have a suitable room? For an additional £200 + VAT, we can source a venue for you.

Timings:
As the course lasts one hour and is delivered at your site, timings are flexible and can be arranged to suit your school day.
We can fit around the start of the day, a training session, or an INSET slot, as long as the full course time is met. Just let us know what works for your team.
Prefer to train staff online?
We also offer an Allergy and Anaphylaxis Awareness eLearning course, CPD accredited and around one hour long. It suits schools that want to train a large team flexibly, and it is a practical way to keep supply, cover and newly appointed staff up to date throughout the year.
Many schools use a blended approach: onsite training for their core team, with eLearning for whole staff coverage.
Please note the online course does not include practical use of an adrenaline device, so where hands on practice is needed, the onsite course remains the better fit.
