Level 3 First Aid at Work (3 Day)

This course builds on the 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course, covering a broader range of workplace emergencies and preparing you to act confidently in higher-risk environments (e.g. construction, manufacturing, warehouses, large offices, schools, hospitality).

Course Requirements
  • Minimum age 14 years
  • No prior first aid knowledge required
  • Physically able** to carry out practical elements
  • Comfortable clothing recommended
  • A smartphone or tablet is required to scan QR codes for the test

What You'll Learn

The 3 day first aid at work course covers everything needed to act quickly and confidently in workplace emergencies.

Emergency Response

  • Understand First Aider roles and responsibilities
  • Assess incidents safely and effectively
  • Call for emergency help and manage a scene
  • Conduct Primary & Secondary Surveys (DR ABC)
  • Record and report workplace incidents

CPR & AED

  • Adult CPR plus managing resuscitation difficulties
  • In depth practice with AED use
  • Decision making under pressure

Recovery Position

  • Placement of breathing casualty
  • Continuous monitoring skills
  • Scenario based practice

Wound Care & Bleeding

  • Life-threatening bleeding management
  • Advanced bandaging techniques
  • Treatment of burns, scalds, splinters, bruises
