About the Level 3 Supervising First Aid for Mental Health Course
This advanced course builds on the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health qualification and explores a much wider range of mental health conditions, workplace responsibilities, and support options.
While this course is open to anyone in the workplace, it is especially suited to people who manage or supervise staff and have responsibility for staff wellbeing.
Many organisations choose this course when they want designated staff responsible for First Aid for Mental Health within the organisation.
Course Details
This course builds on the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health course.
- Duration: Minimum 12 hours over at least two days. Normally consecutive, but can be completed within six weeks from the start date.
- Qualification: FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)
- Assessment: Short written assessment (simple multiple choice and open questions)
- Certificate: Valid for 3 years
- Maximum group size: 16 learners
- Minimum age: 16+
