Course Duration: 12 hours (usually 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM and then 1 day of self-paced E-Learning to comply with EYFS and Ofsted expectations). Flexible timings are available for group bookings at your venue.
Validity: Certification lasts 3 years.
What is covered?
1. Assess emergencies and decide on actions, 2. Aid a baby/child who is unresponsive (breathing or not), 3. Respond to seizures, 4. Help with choking, 5. Control bleeding, 6. Treat shock (blood loss or anaphylaxis), 7. Respond to an electric shock, 8. Treat burns or scalds, 9. Manage suspected fractures, 10. Handle head, neck, or back injuries, 11. Respond to poisoning, 12. Remove foreign objects (eyes, ears, nose), 13. Treat eye injuries, 14. Treat bites or stings, 15. Manage heat or cold exposure.
When will I get my certificate? Within 48 hours of course completion.
Assessment: Practical tasks + 1 online multiple-choice test. No prior first aid knowledge is needed.
