Course Details

Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification (2 Days)

The two Day First Aid at Work (FAW) Requalification course is designed for first aiders whose three day FAW certificate is approaching expiry. This course refreshes essential first aid skills and ensures continued compliance with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. On successful completion, delegates will renew their Level 3 FAW qualification, enabling them to act as a trained first aider in both low and high risk workplace environments.

It is ideal for employees in medium to high risk sectors such as construction, manufacturing, engineering, and large organisations, as well as staff in low risk workplaces who previously completed the full 3 Day FAW course. It is perfect for individuals responsible for maintaining a workforce of trained first aiders and ensuring workplace compliance with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Course Requirements

If you previously completed the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, you only need to re-attend the EFAW course for renewal.

  • No prior first aid knowledge needed
  • Minimum age 14 years
  • Physically able** to carry out practical elements
  • Comfortable clothing recommended
  • A smartphone or tablet is required to scan QR codes for the test
