Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid Training
When a medical emergency happens, every second counts. The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support (BLS) & Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)is a half-day accredited course that equips you with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in an emergency.
Every year in the UK, there are more than 60,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (Resuscitation Council, UK). Sadly, the survival rate is low - but when CPR and defibrillation are given quickly, lives can be saved.
In fact, for every minute that passes without intervention, a casualty’s chance of survival falls by 10%. This is why knowing how to perform CPR and safely use an AED is one of the most valuable skills you can ever learn. Our course is designed not just to teach you the technical steps, but also to help you remain calm and effective under pressure.
By the end of the session, you will walk away with a recognised qualification, practical experience, and the peace of mind that you could make a difference in a life-threatening situation.
